While iATKOS didn’t worked, Kalyway AMD DVD did. Here I am, typing this from my new Mac OS X 10.5.1 installation
To get QE/CI working (this was the only thing keeping me from running Leopard instead of Windows), I replaced my (better) ATI Radeon 9600 with a GeForce FX 5200. QE/CI was enabled right after I installed Natit.
For some strange reason, the date keeps going back to January 1st, 1970 every time I boot. I may do a reinstall the next week, also erasing Windows in the process
But overall, I’m pretty happy with my new configuration.

which kalyway version did you install?
1.0. The latest one doesn’t work for me.
I am trying the same install on a Sempron machine, were you able to do a straight-forward install with the Kalyway AMD DVD or was is more complicated for you?
Well, pretty much straight-forward. I had some problems at the end of the installation (stalling/installer crashing and no bootloader installed) and I had to put ApplePS2Controller.kext in /System/Library/Extensions by myself.
You can find the extension here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=21952
Also, on several installations I had to make the Leopard partition active and install the bootloader.
But keep in mind that I had those problems with 1.0, not the latest Kalyway DVD.
Where can i find the Kalyway AMD DVD???
Is it a special version or will the Intel version work???
No, the Intel version won’t work. Unfortunately, it seems that there is no AMD version available anymore.
I’m interested in acquiring a kalyway amd dvd, did you patched the kalyway intel dvd or you just installed it on an amd machine. Please elaborate the steps on how to make a kalyway amd installer.
do you know any information about this in english?
