Just started listening to manele (some kind of noise, that people with low IQ tend to call music), thanks to my neighbours who seem to be more Gypsie than Romanian. Woot.
Now I’m going back to listen Parazitii – Mesaj pentru Europa (Message for Europe).

Bitza (an urban soul singer from Romania) is going to release a new album in the spring, called “Sufletul Orasului” (The City’s Soul). Until then, you can download a mixtape from his website, bitza.ro.
Even if you’re not Romanian, I highly recommend it. I especially like Raku (around 3:00) and “Sinteze” (Syntheses; around 15:00).
